Jennifer Nakahara is a native of Chester County and has lived her whole life in the Philadelphia suburbs. She is a former elementary school teacher with a Masters in Educational Leadership. After leaving the teaching profession to raise her twins, Jennifer honed her organizational, planning, prioritizing, and leadership skills as a volunteer in a variety of organizations, including as HSA President of her children’s elementary school and as President of the Downingtown Area School District’s Joint Home and School, an organization representing the parents of over 13,000 students.
Partners In Moving is so much more than a business to Jennifer, it is a vocation. In 2007 she helped her parents move out of their home of 40 years within 30 days. She experienced the magnitude of the project and the subsequent stress it caused her parents firsthand. Since then she has assisted numerous friends, family and others in moving, downsizing, organizing and staging their homes. She enjoys seeing the relief on their faces and the deep breaths that they are able to take when they have someone to guide them and help them make decisions about their belongings...and especially loves the smiles on their faces when she has finished! Jennifer is a member of NAPO, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, NASMM, the National Association of Senior Move Managers and ICD, The Institute for Challenging Disorganization.
